If it is your vacation time, moving home, small business goods to be transported or visiting your relative another city or state, a car rental or van rental is the best thing to go for. It enables us to enjoy and everything working as planed by you. And the biggest thing is you ENJOY your trip to fullest. You don’t have to worry about the fuel and maintenance of the vehicle.
But when you have to rent a van or choose a car rental, to find the right company might be nightmare for you. The market is flooded with companies that will lucre you to the deal and the aftermath you suffer. It becomes very difficult to decide which company to choose from as everyone is having their own USP. You have your quote with you and you feel you are done to find that there are other deposits to be added on. This is at the end a personal preference though. The company you choose depends on your budget to hire a van and the type you have chosen for the job. Grab the best deal as soon as you had your eye on it.
While most of the companies would not tell you about the way to chose the right van. There are two categories:-
SWB stand for Short Wheel Base LWB stand for Long Wheel Base.
The wheelbase has great impact on the balancing movement of the van. It is the measure between the axles of the front and rear wheels. How will and how much a van can handle the load, all depends upon the wheelbase.
Now the next thing to consider is type, you know which base your van should have, the type of van. There are basically three types of vans widely used.
Transit van: – It is used for vacation purposes. It is quite small. It has got sloping sides so it is not suitable for packing. Luton box van:-It is used for moving house. It is medium- sized 7.5 tonne wagon: – It is a truck used for heavy loads.
Once you have considered the type, get the quote. Understand it from the company representative and ask as many questions you can. Don’t keep any doubts in your mind. It is you who are going to pay. Ask for the insurance if they are offering, discounts, fuelling and fines if you are not able to return on time, on the way assistance and hidden costs. If you require a driver, ask for the fees (check the driver license).
HAVE A GREAT JOURNEY!!!
New Zealand’s North Island may be the smaller of the two main islands, but that certainly does not make it lesser. The diminutive North Island is home to Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city, and Wellington, New Zealand’s capital city. The island’s more northern location contributes to a warmer, more congenial climate and translates to a larger, more diverse population than the colder southern island.
A Maori myth tells the tale of Ma-ui, the demi-god responsible for the creation of the North and South Islands. According to the myth, the South Island was the Ma-ui’s canoe. One day, Ma-ui and his brothers were fishing when he pulled an enormous fish from the sea. His brothers fought over the fish and chopped it up. When Ma-ui saw what they had done, he flung it back into the sea and it became the North Island, and their hack marks became the mountains and valleys. The Maori name for the North Island is Te Ika-a-Ma-ui, or, The Fish of Ma-ui.
The mountains and valleys are only part of the lush locales you will encounter on North Island. From the rolling farmlands of Waikato to the rugged mountain ranges of Coromandel, from the lush, sub-tropical forests and picturesque lakes of the island’s center to the beautiful, fruitful vineyards of the east coast, North Island offers something for everyone.
Regional Highlights
There are many different regions on the North Island, ranging from the busy cities of Auckland and Wellington to the untamed and unspoiled beauty of Ruapehu’s national parks. When you picture yourself taking a vacation, what is it exactly that you see yourself doing? Are you the type who likes to spend their vacation lying around their house, catching up on some housework and all of the latest soap operas and lifetime movies that you missed due to the unfortunate fact of your employment? Do you like to travel into the mountains, living from a tent and catching your dinner, generally enjoying the experience of being completely and totally isolated from the rest of the world? Or are you the type who dreams of spending their vacation lying around on a tropical beach, watching the waves crash and the dolphins dance across the ocean surface while you sip a tropical drink and allow the tensions of your life on the mainland to seep away?
If you fall among the latter group than Bora Bora is the perfect destination. Located in French Polynesia in the South Pacific, this island paradise was once part of a US military strategy but proved to be a siren, calling to its soldiers and sailors and entreating them to stay. Many men stayed behind to enjoy the islands unique beauty and features, returning only when their family came to drag them home. Others never left at all, making their home among the islanders and leaving the bloody aftermath of the war to start a new, simpler lifestyle.
Today, Bora Bora makes its living primarily from its tourists. The opportunity to live a simple life is there, but coupled with it is a booming enterprise. Tourists are given the opportunity to sample the native cuisine and expand their horizons with many of the native products and clothing. They have a chance to learn a new language and culture and see a side of life much like their own while still being very different. They are given a rare glimpse into a way of living that they would otherwise never have dreamed existed and an outlook on life that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
The main attraction in Bora Bora, however, is its beaches. Tourists are given the opportunity to realize their dreams of lying on white sand, watching the gulls fly above them while they sip tropical drinks and dream of never going home. They are given a chance to collect shells to show to their neighbors back home and go out on boats to take pictures of the wildlife to prove that they really did spend their vacation hundreds of miles away from home.
Aside from New Zealand’s water attractions or Auckland’s lava-lavas, one thing that really makes a vacation unforgettable is the amazing thrill that can make you shout out of your fast dropping unbelievable experience.
This is a so called “Bungy Jump” the first harbour bridge Bungy Jump in New Zealand is in Auckland’s Harbour Bridge Adventure Centre, Westhaven Reserve, at the bottom of Curran St, Herne Bay. As for me this should be given the best award for providing a lifetime of thrill experience. A totally different activity to awake your nerves after waking up.
Getting to the Auckland’s Harbour Bridge will be too easy for a tourist or a traveler. First, The Harbour Bridge is one of the famous places in Auckland and anybody can give you the direction. From Mollies take the direction to the west on Tweed St. and turn right on Curran St. that makes it less than about ten minutes of walking slowly while exploring other buildings along the way.

Home to unique birds, fish and plant life, the Garden will leave you breathless with its tropical natural setting and peaceful existence of nature. Ideal for a family outing, the Garden is one of the more popular ones in New Zealand and is known for showcasing a wide range of natural species and lush greenery.

If you are dreaming about travel to Auckland, New Zealand just do it. Here’s why.
Since visiting Auckland myself, I can honestly say that you should go. The feeling of this big town is slow and easy. On top of that, the people are friendly too.
There are popularareas of Auckland you should explore while you are there. Below are details on three of my favorites. Visit them while you are there.
The Viaduct
Don’t miss Auckland’s waterfront district just north of the CBD. Here you will find many cool restaurants and bars.
You can enjoy a stunning view of the harbor and the many yachts and sailboats from this vantage point.
In the evening, this place is always busy with interesting patrons.
Karangahape Rd
If you like for partying after hours this street is a true hotspot. This street is known for its exotic bars and clubs.
Things here don’t start getting going until after 11pm but the craziness goes on well into the early hours of the following morning.
Central Business District
This spot is the city’s downtown. The main street running through here is Queen St.
You could easily spend your entire vacation in Auckland just hanging out in this part of town. Daytime there are scores of shops and restaurants to visit. The main street is usually alive with artists.
At night, you will find all kinds of bars and restaurantsto suit all tastes and budgets If you drink wine, you’ll find that most locations will have a selection of New Zealand wines to select from.
There are many other regions and hotspots to check out in Auckland – more than enough to keep anyone occupiedfor a long time.
The three places are a suggested place to begin though, since they are convenient to many of the best hotels in Auckland and all are close to each other.

Everyone is looking for the perfect place to spend vacation time at. One of the most popular ideas for vacations is, of course, a place that is close to being paradise. Tropical palm trees, soft, warm winds, crystal clear blue water, white sands, and nightlife that is full of great food, great people, and the best entertainment on Earth. New Zealand is a fantastic place to spend a vacation.
New Zealand is made up of two large islands, the North Island and the South Island, as well as many other very small islands. The country is famous for its geographic isolation, being about 1200 miles southeast of Australia. Since it is so isolated, New Zealand is home to some of the most extraordinary foreign wildlife and flora in the world. Travelers will find it interesting that until 2006, with the exception of a few species of bats, it was thought that New Zealand had no native life that was not marine life. In 2006, however, bones of a newly discovered native species had been found. Now, everything from exotic birds to tropical lizards and insects to land animals of all kinds can be found here. And, of course, the marine life that can be witnessed on a New Zealand vacation is second to none.
The South Island, being larger than the North Island, also is the more mountainous of the two. While at land level the climate is pleasant and warm, the mountain tops are covered with snow. The Maori people welcome visitors from all over the world all year round. English is the main language, followed by the Maori language of the native people. There is a heavy influence of English and British culture, and many famous movies and sporting events have been made here. The worlds largest Polynesian festival is held annually in Auckland, as are many other smaller festivals throughout the year. Agriculture has always been a main economic driving force in New Zealand, boasting some of the best dairy, meat, fruits and vegetables that can be found on the globe.
The perfect vacation spot for individuals, couples, families, and groups of friends is New Zealand. Where no two days are the same, and the cities, country, beaches and farms paint a perfect picture, the sports, activities, entertainment, dining, and rich culture with stay with vacationers for a lifetime to come.
